The Automatic tin – detector is an apparatus able to detect the tinned side of the float glass.

The costumer’s need to have an automatic apparatus to be put directly on the production line made Helios Italquartz develop the manual apparatus Manwood 25-N for the creation of such new item.

The Automatic tin-detector is particularly requested in the glass market for laminating, mirror, screen printing and decoration processes.

The apparatus utilizes the UV radiation and thanks to the light refraction it is possible to recognize  the tinned surface.
